How does a chemical peel work? Applying a chemical peel to the skin removes surface dead skin cells and uppermost damaged cells. This will then encourage new ones to form; by speeding up the cellular turnover, new cells will be revealed, that is healthy and undamaged. Chemical peels are also superior treatments for many skin concerns.
